Christopharo is a fantasy artist who uses a variety of visual mediums from traditional and digital painting to multi-media. Since early childhood he has been inspired by dreams, fantasy, and mythology. His older brother, Alex, who is also an artist, played an important role in bringing new inspirations and art techniques to Christopharo including an introduction into digital art.
After graduating High School Chistopharo soon realized the importance of taking a more disciplined plan of action toward a professional art career. This plan of action led him to pursue studies that consisted of basic to advanced art studies such as the disciplines of critical thinking, drawing fundamentals, life drawing, and color theory. Soon after completing a series of art courses Christopharo was hired on to work at a Hollywood multi-studio location, where he worked on numerous animated shows such as Cisco & Ripple (for Starz Encore); and was also contracted as an illustrator for the movie The Shape of Things (for Working Title Films).
In his spare time Christopharo fine-tuned his skills at various art schools such as Associates in Art where he received guidance and mentorship from master artists including Mark Westermoe.
Christopharo has continued as a freelance artist, with over a decade of relationships with companies such as NBCUniversal, MGA Entertainment, and Starz Encore Group. He is currently working on a new series of commissioned portraitures and is also exhibiting his 3-D and fantasy art at various venues and galleries around the Inland Empire.
